Quartz broadcast flooring in Greater Pittsburgh

A quartz broadcast floor uses decorative quartz aggregate within a resin coating system. It offers a different appearance and texture from vinyl flake or a flowing metallic finish. Bear Design reviews the room’s use before recommending a build.

Choose around use and cleanup

Tell us about foot traffic, wet conditions, spills and cleaning routines. Aggregate size, broadcast coverage and the final seal affect the finished texture. We discuss the balance between traction and ease of cleaning rather than treating every space the same.

How quartz differs from flake

Quartz is a mineral aggregate, while a decorative flake system uses flakes in a specified base. Both require compatible layers and proper surface preparation. Color and texture choices should be reviewed with samples alongside your project requirements.

What we inspect

The evaluation considers existing coatings, cracks, joints and signs of moisture. Mechanical preparation and needed repairs are included in the proposed scope. The selected primer, resin and finish must work together on the actual substrate.

Request a quartz flooring quote

Provide photos, dimensions, property location and the intended use of the room. For commercial work, include cleaning chemicals, traffic and available shutdown windows. Quartz work is quoted for the project; we confirm the specification and return-to-use requirements before scheduling.
