Flake garage floor coatings in Pittsburgh
A garage floor has to handle tires, tracked-in grit and everyday use. Bear Design installs broadcast flake coating systems selected around the concrete, your preferred appearance and the way you use the garage.
What goes into a flake floor
Decorative flakes are broadcast into the specified base layer, then finished with a compatible protective coating. We review blend, flake size, sheen and traction with you. A polyaspartic topcoat may be part of the selected system; the full build depends on the slab and project requirements.

Before we quote your garage
Tell us the approximate square footage, whether the floor has paint or an existing coating, and whether you see cracks, spalling or moisture. Photographs help us plan a visit, but an inspection is needed to evaluate the substrate and preparation. Existing overlays must also be checked for soundness and compatibility.
Preparation, access and return to use
The garage must be clear so the entire area can be mechanically prepared. We discuss coating removal, repairs, edges and joints in the written scope. You receive the selected system’s cure and return-to-service instructions; vehicle access depends on the materials and conditions.
Plan your estimate
Send your address, floor photos, approximate dimensions and preferred timing. We are based in Eighty Four and serve Greater Pittsburgh. Final pricing depends on preparation, repairs, floor area and the coating specification. A 10-year warranty is available only on qualifying concrete floor coatings, subject to written terms.
